A New Chapter for Sapiens
Today is a significant day for Sapiens, and for our customers in the insurance industry.
We’ve announced that we’re moving our global headquarters to central London, one of the world’s great insurance markets. Our office in Holborn’s Space House will serve as our first AI Customer Experience Lab, with a second to follow in the US later this year.
Alongside the new office, we’ve also announced that a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) has invested in Sapiens and become a significant minority shareholder. This follows our acquisition by Advent last year and reflects growing confidence in our AI strategy for the insurance sector. And, we’re launching a new brand.
These all serve as a declaration of where we stand, what we have built, and where we are going.
It’s a single, coherent direction.
The moment insurance is in
I have been in tech for a long time. I have lived through the internet, mobile, the cloud. What is happening right now with AI feels like all those combined and multiplied by fifty. It is enormous. And for insurance specifically, it changes everything: how underwriting works, how pricing is set, how customers are served. If you can truly understand each customer as they evolve, every decision becomes more precise and every interaction more meaningful.
The companies that will lead the next era of insurance are those that successfully blend their core processing systems, human expertise, and artificial intelligence into something genuinely new. That combination is what will determine who wins. And Sapiens is here to help them achieve that.
What Sapiens is building
For over 600 insurers in 30 countries, Sapiens already provides the mission-critical systems at the heart of their operations. What we are doing now is going further.
We call it Insurance Agentification. It is the launch of a new suite of agentic products – Agentic Claims, Agentic Underwriting, Agentic Policy – all built on our Central Agentic Framework, which connects an insurer’s core systems to their AI strategy through a single, governed insurance ontology. This is not about more chatbots. This is AI embedded directly into the workflows that matter: policy underwriting, claims management, pricing, risk, billing.
The result is agile intelligence: the ability to make decisions at the speed of thought, with real-time data and human insight working together. AI powered hyper-relevance, for every customer, in every moment.
The move to London
Our new London headquarters is designed to deepen our collaboration with the global insurance institutions we serve. The AI Customer Experience Lab, and its counterpart that we will open in the US later this year, will give insurers a place to work directly with our teams, to explore and test AI applications built specifically for this industry.
Insurance has always been about understanding risk. The future of insurance will be built on understanding people – continuously, intelligently, and in real time. AI powered hyper-relevance is the new competitive advantage, and our role is to make it real for every insurer we work with. And at Sapiens Ignite, our flagship customer summit in October, you will see a very different Sapiens showing up to the market.
That is the future we are building together. And today is where it starts.
