Maroun S. Mourad joined Sapiens as CEO, North America in October of 2026. He is a value creation-oriented leader in global technology, data analytics and tech-enabled services, with over 27 years of leadership experience in regulated industries and a strong track record in M&A. Maroun most recently served as President for Intellectual Property at Clarivate, and before that spent a decade at Verisk Analytics, as President of global divisional P&Ls across Claims, Underwriting and Life and served as a member of the company’s Senior Operating Committee.
He has also held CEO, COO and senior leadership roles at Zurich Insurance, Arch Reinsurance, AIG and Berkshire Hathaway’s Gen Re. He holds JD and BA in political science degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
