Sapiens Commits to APAC, Appoints Krish Datta as Executive Vice President for the Region
A seasoned enterprise business leader joins to accelerate the growth and presence of Sapiens

Krish joins with immediate effect and will lead Sapiens’ footprint in the region across its go-to-market strategy, customer growth, and regional operations.
The appointment follows a significant period of strategic acceleration for Sapiens, including a minority investment from a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), the launch of its Insurance Agentification program, and the opening of its AI Customer Experience Lab at its new London headquarters in Holborn’s Space House. With APAC as a critical growth frontier, Krish’s mandate is to bring that vision to market across one of the world’s most diverse and fast-growing insurance landscapes.
A Proven Enterprise Platform Builder
With more than 35 years of enterprise software and platform leadership across Asia Pacific, Krish Datta is well-known in the region. He built SAP’s South-East Asian business to over $500 million in revenue, scaled Syniti’s APJ operation from inception to over 30 million annually and launched Credence.tech to achieve a significant cloud and sovereign platform within 18 months. His early career delivering core insurance platforms across life, general, and reinsurance at Apex Systems gives him domain depth that is rare at his level.
Sapiens’ agentification strategy – built on its Central Agentic Framework with capabilities across Agentic Claims, Agentic Underwriting, and Agentic Policy – is designed to move insurers from incremental automation to genuine autonomous intelligence. Krish brings direct board-level experience advising on AI decisioning platforms, giving Sapiens a sharper perspective on what insurers need to succeed.
